Poke, at it’s most basic, is raw fish marinated in soy sauce, spices and sesame oil. It is then mixed with chopped onions, topped with sesame seeds and served over rice. It has hundreds of varieties using every kind of fish you can imagine. Noble House currently carries both Ahi Poke, California Poke and occasionally vegetarian Portobello Poke. Deciding we were going to try a restaurant new to us, we went to Noble House on 21st and Amidon. The parking was plentiful, the exterior clean. As we entered the restaurant, I was impressed by how clean everything was. Tables, floors, food prep area, the works! Having never been there, we went up to review the menu on the wall. My wife chose teriyaki chicken, I chose the Kaluha Pork. I also added a sort of seaweed wrap. The meals were ready very fast and came with good proportions. The food was flavorable and surprisingly filling. We both got to go boxes. I sampled her teriyaki chicken and found it to be very, very good, indeed! My Kaluha pork was as well. And, the rice wrapped in seaweed was very tasty. We spoke with the lady who took our order about the restaurant and food. She was very nice and a joy to talk with. I also chatted briefly with the owner, Chef, and asked him whether he would have his food truck at Riverfest. Nice guy! All things considered, we will be returning patrons. I am looking forward to trying the teriyaki steak next trip in. Oh, one last thing, they also have a drive-thru! Thanks guys for a wonderful meal and conversation!

The ahi poke gave me life! The tuna was so fresh, with just the right amount of fresh onion and spices. All on top of a mound of rice. Yummmmmy! It even had a bit of a kick/ heat. The portion was very large. My husband had the #1 - huli huli chicken - it didn't disappoint. The chicken was tender and juicy with just the right amount of seasoning. If you're looking to switch up to your usual places, give Noble House a try. You won't be disappointed.

Everything there was Hawaiian! Nice to go to a restaurant that performed like you want it to. They understand that it's a treat to go there, not just another meal! The owner is one of the reasons that it's so good. Very friendly and entertaining! Thanks for making my evening out fun! Oh, the California Poke was fantastic!
